
Rams Fall in Double Overtime at Bard

Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. - A goal scored with only four
minutes remaining in double overtime propelled Bard to a 1-0
Skyline Conference win. The Rams fell to 1-7 overall, 0-1 in
conference play, while the Raptors improved to 3-4, 1-0 in the
Skyline Conference.
After neither team scored in regulation, Farmingdale State and Bard each attempted one shot on goal in the first overtime, with neither team able to connect.
In the second overtime period, junior Jacob Hartog (San Francisco, Cal./The Urban School) scored off sophomore Ammar Al-Rubaiay's (Chester Springs, Penn./Westtown School) pass with four minutes remaining. Hartog handed Farmingdale State their first Skyline Conference loss of the season.
Senior Ray Levan (Brentwood, N.Y.) recorded four saves in goal for the Rams, while junior Deven Connelly (High Falls, N.Y./Rondout Valley) had three saves for the Raptors.
Farmingdale State next will travel to Maritime College for a Skyline Conference matchup on Thursday, September 23rd.
