Skyline Releases Men's Soccer Report #5
- Gubbins Player of the Week, Brantmeyer named to Honor Roll
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference
released the fifth Men's Soccer report for the 2009 season this
afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor
Roll and Conference statistics.
Senior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. He recorded two shutouts last week, leading Farmingdale to two Skyline wins. Gubbins had seven saves in the 1-0 win over Maritime and six in the 2-0 win at NYU-Poly. Gubbins has now recorded shutouts in his last three games in goal.
Freshman midfielder Joe Brantmeyer (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. He had one goal and an assist in Farmingdale's 2-0 win over NYU-Poly.
