
Paul Leads Rams to Skyline Win over Bard

second half, leading the Rams to a 3-0 shutout over conference
opponent Bard College. Farmingdale State now stands at 3-4-1, 2-1
in the Skyline for the season, while Bard drops to 4-3-1, 2-1
Skyline.
After a 0-0 first half, Paul scored an unassisted goal for Farmingdale at the 57:41 mark. He would add his second score off a cross from the corner by junior midfielder Alex Mendolia (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) 20 minutes later. Senior Marcos Cipra (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach) would score the final goal with nine minutes remaining, putting the Rams up 3-0 and the game out of reach for the Raptors.
Senior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) recorded his first shutout of the season, while sophomore goalie Devin Connelly (High Falls, N.Y./Rondout Valley) had eight saves in defeat for Bard.
The Rams host Maritime College in a Skyline Conference game on Wednesday, September 30th at 4:00pm.
