Farmingdale, N.Y. - Farmingdale State (8-5-1) tied Baruch College (7-3-4) today, 1-1, in a non-conference men's soccer game. The Rams went up 1-0 in the first half with an unassisted goal by sophomore forward Ryan Paul (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville), his 18th goal of the season.

Farmingdale State held the 1-0 lead thru halftime, before Baruch's Val Kirykovich (Pinsk, Belarus/No. 15) evened the score in the 47th minute of play. Both teams missed scoring chances in the second half, sending the game into overtime and double overtime, which resulted in the Rams first tie of the season.

Junior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) made 10 saves in net for Farmingdale State, while junior goalkeeper Nelson DiBastiano (Rego Park, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) made nine saves for Baruch.

The Rams will travel to play Polytechnic Institute on Thursday, October 23rd for a Skyline Conference game at 3:00 p.m.
