
Rams Storm Past Brookyn College

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's
soccer team (5-5) won their third straight game today with a 7-0
victory over Brooklyn College (3-6-1). Sophomore forward Ryan Paul
(Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) led the Rams with two goals.
In the first half, Farmingdale State scored five times, with goals from junior forward Marcos Cipra (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach), senior defender Mathew Arthurs (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip), freshman forward Nick Pancotto (Islip, N.Y./Islip) and two goals from Paul.
Second half tallies were added by senior forward Terrance Spencer (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) and freshman forward Ryan Standridge (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst).
Rams junior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) made seven saves, while freshman goalkeeper Ricky Meschkow (Plainview, N.Y./Plainview) made two saves.
Farmingdale State will now host Purchase College on Saturday, October 11th in a Skyline Conference game at Noon.
