Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team rolled to a 5-0 non-conference victory over CCNY (3-10) today, improving their overall record to 4-5. Freshman forward Nick Pancotto (Islip, N.Y./Islip) scored 14 minutes in on a long shot from outside the box to put the Rams up 1-0.

Senior midfielder Thomas Mueller (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) scored the second goal for Farmingdale State on a penalty kick at 31:28, and the Rams led at the half 2-0.

In the second, sophomore forward Ryan Paul (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) scored two consecutive unassisted goals at the 64 and 73-minute mark, before senior forward Terrance Spencer (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) put away the final goal for Farmingdale State, assisted from freshman midfielder Ryan Lang (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon).

Junior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) recorded his first shutout of the season.

The Rams will host Brooklyn College in another non-conference game on Thursday, October 9th at 3:30 p.m.
