
Drew Forges Past Rams in Second Half

Madison, N.J. - Farmingdale State (2-4) fell in a
non-conference men's soccer game against Drew University (6-1-1)
last night in Madison, N.J. The Rams trailed 1-0 at halftime, but
the Rangers scored five more in the second half for the 6-0
victory.
In the first half, Drew held the 9-6 shot advantage with the lone goal scored by senior midfielder Andres Callejas (Morristown, N.J./Delbarton). But five more players would get on the board in the second and goalkeeper Jeff Rogers ( ) made three saves for the shutout win.
Rams junior goalkeeper Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport) made four saves in 74 minutes of play, while freshman goalkeeper Ricky Meschkow (Plainview, N.Y./Plainview) made 3 saves over 16 minutes.
Farmingdale State will now travel to face York (N.Y.) on Tuesday, September 30th for another non-conference game at 3:30 p.m.
