
Paul’s Four Goals Power Rams Past City Tech

Paul (Sayville, NY / Sayville) scored a career high four goals
leading Farmingdale State past visiting New York City Tech, 7-1, in
a non-conference men’s soccer game this afternoon. Paul
opened the scoring at the 24:36 mark and added another in the first
half as the Rams took a 3-0 lead into halftime.
Along with Paul’s two goals in the second half, Farmingdale’s Karol Zastawny, (Lindenhurst NY / Lindenhurst) Nick Pancotto, (Islip, NY / Islip) and Terrance Spencer (Bay Shore, NY / Bay Shore) each added a tally for the Rams. City Tech’s Marcin Baran (Queens, NY / Manhattan Comp) scored their lone goal at the 57:00 mark for the visitors.
Patrick Gubbins (East Patchogue, NY / Bellport) made five saves for Farmingdale in the first half and Ricky Meschkow (Plainview, NY / Plainview) had two stops for the Rams in the second half. Ariel Mejia (Queens, NY / John Bowne) had a team high six saves for City Tech.
The Rams now face Yeshiva in their Skyline Conference opener Sunday, September 14th, at noon in Farmingdale, N.Y.
