Farmingdale State Athletics

Farmingdale State freshman goalkeeper Joseph Caccavale (West Islip, NY/West Islip) was named Skyline Rookie of the Week for men's soccer on Monday, October 9th. Caccavale had a busy week in goal in a 1-0-1 week for Farmingdale. He held the fort with 11 saves to keep the Rams alive in order to get a 1-0 overtime shutout victory. He then made 5 saves in 110 minutes of play against Mount Saint Mary for a 1-1 tie.
