Three Late Second-Half Goals Lead Manhattanville to Victory

Manhattanville scored three goals in a 2:20 span late in the second half to defeat the home Rams 3-1 in Skyline Conference mens soccer action on Sunday afternoon. Manhattanville improved to 8-6-1, 5-2 in the Skyline, while the Rams fell to 5-8-2, 3-5-1 in the Skyline.

Senior forward Scott Vieira (Staten Island, NY) scored the first two goals for the Valiants, the first at 79:39 and the second at 81:17. Senior forward Bernard Keating (Yorktown Heights, NY) scored for Manhattanville just 42 seconds later for the third and final goal of the day.

Freshman Brett Siani (Islip, NY/Islip) scored the lone goal for Farmingdale. Senior goalkeeper Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) made six saves in defeat for the Rams.

Farmingdale State ends the season on Tuesday, October 25th against Polytechnic in Brooklyn, NY at 3:30pm.
