Men's Soccer Completes Doubleheader Sweep

Farmingdale State (4-3, 2-1 Skyline) today defeated visiting Centenary College (3-5, 1-1 Skyline) by a score of 2-1, giving the soccer program a doubleheader sweep. Freshman Thomas Mueller (Babylon, NY/Babylon) gave the Rams a 1-0 lead, scoring an unassisted goal at the 30 minute mark. Freshman Justin Klieber (Wantagh, NY/MacArthur) scored off a cross from senior Thomas Florez (Deer Park, NY/Deer Park) giving Farmingdale a 2-0 lead at the half.

Centenary's Pat Glackin (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Immaculata) scored off a loose ball rebound at the 51 minute mark, cutting the Rams lead in half. Farmingdale held on as senior goalkeeper Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) made four of his six saves in the second half to preserve the victory.

Farmingdale hosts John Jay College on Monday, September 26th at 4:00pm.
