The Rams (0-5-1) today tied conference opponent Maritime College (1-3-1) by a score of 1-1. Maritime�s Nilton Ramirez (Queens, NY) opened the scoring at the 57 minute mark of the second half. Farmingdale evened up the game as Bryant Rodriguez (Elmont, NY) scored on a penalty kick with 17 minutes remaining. Both teams had numerous chances in overtime to capture their first conference win.
Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY) finished with 4 saves for Farmingdale, while Maritimes Matt Kavanaugh (Penfield, NY) made 10 stops.
The Rams travel to Centenary College for a conference game on Saturday at 3:00pm. Farmingdale's women's team takes on Centenary at 1:00pm as part of the doubleheader.
