Rams Headed to Keene Trace for NCAA Golf Championship

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team will head to Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky for the 2023 NCAA Division III Championship. The tournament will run from May 16-19 and is hosted by Transylvania University. 

The Rams earned a berth into the NCAA's by winning the Skyline Conference Championship in October. The field will feature 221 players, including 43 teams and six individuals. After 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on one of those advancing teams.

The championship will be played on two courses - Champion Trace and Keene Run. FSC will begin play Tuesday on Champion Trace and have been paired with Stevens and Wisconsin Superior for the first two rounds.

Update: Tuesday's format has switched to a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on the Championship Trace course. Mackenzie Kim and Chris Iguchi will start on hole 13, with Liam Miller and Brad Castaldy starting on hole 15 and James Quinlan on hole 15. Other teams participating in Tuesday's grouping with the Rams include Middlebury (Vt.) College, St. John Fisher College and Stevens Institute of Technology.
