FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The FSC men's golf team had their final tune-up prior to the NCAA Championship as they hosted Nichols College in a match play event at the Bethpage State Park - Black Course on Friday afternoon. The Rams earned a 4.5-.5 win over the Bison.
FSC junior Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) recorded a 7&6 victory in his match against Luke Sargent. In the #2 position, junior Mackenzie Kim (E. Quogue, N.Y.) carded a 7&5 win over Cam DeSante, while junior Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) earned a 5&4 victory in the third slot.
Junior Liam Miller (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and Jake Goldberg halved their match and freshman James Quinlan (Poughquag, N.Y.) rounded out the win for the Rams by defeating Colin Small, 4&3.
Farmingdale State next will head to the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky from Tuesday, May 16th-19th.
