FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The second and final round of the FSC Men's Golf Spring Invitational scheduled for today at Bethpage State Park - Red Course has been cancelled. The Invitational ends as a single-round tournament with #21 ranked Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as the winner following their day one score of 290 (+10).
NYU earned a runner-up finish after a plus-13, 293 in round one. Farmingdale State placed third with a team total of 297 (+17). Junior Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) led the Rams with a 72 (+2) on Saturday.
The FSC men's golf team next will travel to the Powelton Club in Newburgh, N.Y. to compete in the MSMC Spring Invitational on Friday, April 28th.
