Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team will head to Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida for the NCAA Division III Championship. The Tournament will run from May 10-13 and is hosted by Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
The Rams earned a spot in the field of 43 teams and six individuals by winning the Skyline Conference Championship in October. After 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on one of those advancing teams. A total of 221 participants will compete at the 2022 championship.
The championship will be played on the El Campeon and Las Colinas courses at Mission Inn. FSC will open on El Campeon on Tuesday and play Las Colinas on Wednesday. The Rams are paired with Hamilton and St. Joseph's (Maine) for the first two rounds of competition.
