East Meadow, N.Y. - Junior Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) fired a career-best round of 70 to lead the FSC men's golf team to victory at the Old Westbury Invitational held at the Eisenhower Park White Course this afternoon.

The Rams posted a team total of 307 and earned a 23-stroke victory over runner-up Nassau Community College (330). Mount Saint Mary (338) finished in third place out of seven teams.

In the windy conditions, Iguchi birdied the first three holes to quickly move to 3-under par. After a double bogey on the par 4 sixth hole, he bounced back with a birdie on the eighth. Iguchi would add two more birdies on the back nine en route to his 2-under par round of 70.

Sophomore Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) carded a 74 (+2), while sophomore Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) recorded a 77 today.

Iguchi, Castaldy and Kim finished first, second and third individually.

Farmingdale State will next compete at the 2022 NCAA Division III Championships held at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida from May 10-13.
