Fayetteville, Penn. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team traveled to Penn National Golf Course for the Gettysburg Spring Shoot Out and posted a team-total of 318 in today's opening round. The Rams are in fifth place out of seven competing teams with host-school Gettysburg leading after shooting a 301 in the first round.

Junior Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) led FSC as he carded a 76 (+4) and is currently tied for ninth place individually, while sophomore Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) fired a 78 (+6) and is tied for 13th.

Sophomore Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) finished with an 81 (+9) in the opening round. Senior Eli Leone-Formisano (Monroe, N.Y.) and sophomore Liam Miller (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) each shot 83 (+11) on the first day.

York College's (Penn.) Matthew Ruzomberka carded a 71 (-1) this afternoon and holds a three-stroke lead.

Farmingdale State will begin play at 9:00 a.m. in tomorrow's final round.
