Rams in Eighth Place After First Round at Saratoga National Invitational

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team traveled to Saratoga National Golf Club for the Saratoga National Invitational hosted by Skidmore College. In today's first round, the Rams posted a team-total of 321 and are in eighth place out of nine teams.

Freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) led FSC with an opening round 76 and is currently tied for 14th out of 45 competitors and freshman Liam Miller (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) (T29) carded a career-best round of 79.

Individually, Skidmore's Evan Forest (68) is one stroke ahead of Joey Harrigan (69) from RPI. Jack Godin of Trinity (CT) posted a 1-under par round of 71 and sits in third place.

Skidmore (295) leads by one over Babson (296), while Middlebury (298) is in third place after today's opening round.

The final round will begin tomorrow morning.
