Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team opened the 2021 fall season with a 22-shot victory at the FSC Skyline Invitational at the Bethpage State Park - Blue Course. The Rams shot a team total of 299, while Manhattanville (321) finished in second place.

The Rams were led by freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) who fired an even par round of 72 and tied for medalist honors with Manhattanville's Reid Robertson. Iguchi shot a 37 on the front nine and followed with a 1-under par 35 on the back for his round of 72.

FSC freshman Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) carded a 74, while sophomore Eli Leone-Formisano (Monroe, N.Y.) posted a 76. Freshman Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) recorded a 77 and freshman Liam Miller (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) pitched in with an 82 for the Rams.

Farmingdale State next will head to the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort in Delaware, Penn. for the Rosemont College Invitational on Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th.
