Wheeling, WV - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a second round team total of 336 on the par 70 Jones Course at the 2021 NCAA Division III Championship at the Oglebay Resort this afternoon. The Rams had a two day total of 669 and finished tied for 35th place.

The 37-team field was cut to the top-18 teams and six individuals not on one of the advancing teams. The team cut was 605.

Freshman Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) carded a 79 in round one and followed with an 80 this afternoon for a two day total of 159. Senior Brian Crawford (Stormville, N.Y.) shot an 84 today and finished with a total of 167, while freshman Matt Behrens (Smithtown, N.Y.) posted a final round score of 83. Freshman Zack Yashnyk (Farmingdale, N.Y.) shot 89 as FSC missed the cut.

Freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) had to withdraw today after suffering a leg injury late in round one.

Illinois Wesleyan (290-286-576) leads Methodist (300-281-581) by five strokes.

Individually, Andre Chi of Methodist (72-65) holds a 4-shot lead over three players.
