Bellport, N.Y. - Freshman Kyle Zere (Ronkonkomna, N.Y.) posted a 77 today to lead the Farmingdale State men's golf team to a 13-shot victory at the St. Joseph's-LI Skyline Invitational at Bellport Country Club. The Rams (327) finished 13 strokes ahead of runner-up Mount Saint Mary, while host school St. Joseph's-LI (354) finished in third place.
In the windy conditions, Zere took second place individually and junior Taylor Stoerback (St. James, N.Y.) fired an 80 to finish third.
Manhattanville's Reid Robertson earned medalist honors with a tournament-low round of 76.
FSC next will host the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage Red on Sunday, April 25th and Monday, April 26th. The winner of the championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2021 NCAA Division III Championship at the Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, WV on May 11-14.
The first tee-time for Sunday's opening round is 10:00 a.m.
