West Chester, Pa. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot 317 in Sunday's final round of the 2019 Montgomery Cup hosted by Rosemont College at Concord Country Club. The Rams finished with a two day total of 633 and placed ninth out of 12 teams.

FSC freshman Kyle Zere (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) finished in a tie for 16th place with rounds of 77 and 75 (152), while freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) tied for 26th (81-76-157). 

Allegheny followed an opening round 306 with a 289 on Sunday for a two day total of 595 and two stroke victory over host school Rosemont (299-298-597). The University of Mary Washington (301-301-602) finished in third place.

Individually, Rosemont's Nathan Moore earned medalist honors after rounds of 68 and 72 (140). Moore recorded a hole-in-one on the par 3 11th on Sunday en route to a 3-under par 32 on the back nine. Moore finished five shots ahead of teammate Michael Lange (70-75).

Farmingdale State will close out the fall season at the MSMC Skyline Invitational held at The Powelton Club in Newburgh, N.Y. on Friday, October 11th.
