Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a team total of 305 in the opening round of the Skyline Conference Championship held at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The Rams trail Manhattanville (298) by seven strokes, while Mount Saint Mary (307) is in third place after day one.

FSC freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) led the way with a team-best score of 74 (+5) and is in second place, while freshman Nick Gregorio (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) (T3) posted a 75. Freshman Kyle Zere (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and junior Taylor Stoerback (St. James, N.Y.) each recorded opening rounds of 78 for the Rams.

Individually, Manhattanville's Reid Robertson (71) holds a 3-shot lead over Iguchi.

Tomorrow's final round begins at 9:00 a.m.
