Mount Wolf, Pa. - Senior Brian Crawford (Stormville, N.Y.) fired a team-low score of 72 in the final round of the York (Pa.) Spartan Invitational held at the Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mount Wolf, Pa. The FSC men's golf team entered the final round in ninth before shooting a day two score of 304 to finish in sixth place out of 14 teams.
Crawford finished in a tie for seventh place out of 80 competitors with his two day total of 151. Sophomore Eli Leone-Formisano (Monroe, N.Y.) carded a career-best round of 75 on Sunday and tied for 13th with a total of 153. Freshmen Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) and Kyle Zere (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) recorded final round scores of 78 and 79, respectively.
Stevenson claimed the team title with a two day total of 606, including a tournament-low 293 on Sunday. Host school York (Pa.) (307-301-608) was the runner-up, while Gettysburg (305-310-615) took third place.
Individually, Riley Rohlfs of York (Pa.) (74-69-143) earned a 3-stroke victory over Nicky Marrollo (72-74-146) of Eastern.
The Rams return to action on Friday, September 20th when they host the FSC Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red.
