Bellport, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team opened with a team total of 341 at the first round of the St. Joseph's Spring Invitational held at Bellport Country Club. After day one, FSC is currently tied for sixth place out of nine teams.
The Rams were led by senior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) who carded an opening round of 78, while junior Brian Crawford (Stormville, N.Y.) posted an 84.
Individually, AIC's Augustin DeCordes (75) leads by one over Joe Tantillo (76) of St. Joe's.
Dominican College leads the team competition after posting a 312, while American International (320) is in second place and Felician (321) is in third.
The Rams will begin tomorrow's final round at 12:40 p.m.
