Abbottstown, Penn. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot 303 in today's final round of the McDaniel Fall Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Penn. The Rams finished with a two day total of 621 and took 11th place out of 17 teams.

Junior Brian Crawford (Stormville, N.Y.) bounced back after yesterday's 80 with a career-low round of 71 today for a two day total of 151 and a T13 finish. Senior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) (T21) shot 77 this afternoon and finished with a total of 153, while sophomore Nicholas Aurrichio (Nesconset, N.Y) also carded a final round 77. Sophomore Taylor Stoerback (St. James, N.Y.) finished the tournament with scores of 80 and 78 for Farmingdale State.

St. John Fisher (304-294-598) won the team title after finishing two strokes ahead of Christopher Newport (302-298-600) and McDaniel (301-299-600).

Individually, Shawn MacBernie of McDaniel claimed medalist honors with a two day total of 143 (74-69). Christian Early (Denison) and Julian Gonzalez (Goucher) each finished one shot back of MacBernie.

The Rams next will head to Saratoga, N.Y. for the Saratoga National Invitational hosted by Skidmore College on Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th.
