Ballston Spa, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a final round 315 for a two day total of 636 as they finished tied for sixth place at the Skidmore College Dr. Tim Brown Invitational held at Ballston Spa Country Club.

Junior Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.) paced the Rams with a final round 76 for a two day total of 155 and a T18 finish. Junior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.), who opened with a 76, followed with a final round 81 and finished tied for 26th, while freshman Nicholas Aurrichio (Nesconset, N.Y.) posted a 78 today.

Babson College (598) fired a tournament-low 292 today and edged out first round leader St. Thomas Aquinas (304-295-599) by one stroke.

Chris Bornhorst, of Babson College, earned medalist honors after finishing 5-under par with scores of 70 and 67. Austin Rupp (RPI, 146) and Chandler Longfellow (Manhattanville, 147) placed second and third, respectively.

Farmingdale State next will head to Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. for the NCAA Division III Championships on May 15-18.
