New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the spring weekly report #4 on Monday, March 19th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Men's Lacrosse Update (4-3, 1-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
FSC was 2-0 last week with victories over both Alfred State (17-2) and St. Joseph's-Long Island (10-5).
Junior goalkeeper Dan Wood (East Meadow, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Wood recorded 16 saves, a .727 save percentage and held a 3.79 goals against average in Farmingdale State's two games. In 34:59 of action versus Alfred State, he had two saves and allowed one goal and in the win over St. Joseph's-LI, Wood stopped 14 shots and allowed only five goals.
This week the Rams will travel to Mount Saint Mary for a conference game on Saturday at noon.
Baseball Update (5-3, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
The baseball team went 2-2 in the first four games of their spring trip in Auburndale, Florida. Farmingdale State split with both Springfield (W, 2-0 / L, 0-8) and Wheaton (Mass.) (W, 2-0, L, 4-16).
Junior pitcher Matthew Constantine (West Babylon, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after a complete game shutout allowing five hits with three strikeouts and no walks in the game one victory over Wheaton (Mass.). He held opposing batters to a .192 average in the win.
FSC will play three more games in Florida including a doubleheader against Thomas (ME) (Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. / 12:00 p.m.) and a 9-inning contest versus Cobleskill (Wednesday, 1:30 p.m.) before Skyline DH's at Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday (12:00 p.m.) and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on Sunday (12:00 p.m.).

The softball team was 0-4 last week at their annual spring trip in Clermont, Florida. Farmingdale State is slated to play six additional games in Florida this week: Wednesday vs. Wooster (9:00 a.m.) and Clarkson (2:00 p.m.), Thursday vs. Wisconsin-Oshkosh (2:00 p.m.) and Centre (4:30 p.m.) and Saturday vs. Chicago (9:00 a.m.) and Middlebury (2:00 p.m.).

Farmingdale State fell, 17-6, to Albright in their lone game last week. The Rams will wrap up their spring trip in Englewood, Florida with a non-conference matchup against Williams on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Men's Golf Update
The men's golf team will open their spring season with a dual match against Luther College on Sunday, March 25th at Orange County National's Panther Lake Golf Course in Winter Garden, Florida.
Men's Tennis Update (0-2, 0-0 Skyline)
The men's tennis team will begin their spring season with three matches this week: Wednesday @ York (NY) at 4:00 p.m., Thursday @ St. Joseph's-LI at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday home vs. Western Connecticut State at 12:30 p.m.
