Farmingdale, N.Y. - At the first round of the 2017 Farmingdale State Fall Invitational at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course, the Rams posted a team total of 305 and trail Rosemont College by three strokes. Husson, who also shot 305, is tied for second, while Marywood (308) is in fourth place.
Senior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.), who is tied for third, led the way for FSC with a 4-over par 74. Junior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) (T7) carded a 76, while junior Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.) recorded an opening round of 77. Sophomore Gary Cohan (Kings Park, N.Y.) posted a day one score of 78 for Farmingdale State.
Individually, Cabrini's David Gall (70) leads by three over Michael Lange of Rosemont College.
Tomorrow's final round begins at 8:00 a.m.
