Newburgh, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team traveled to The Powelton Club in Newburgh, N.Y. for the MSMC Fall Invitational on Friday and shot 314 en route to a 16-shot victory. Host school Mount Saint Mary (330) placed second, while Purchase (338) took third.
FSC was led by both sophomore Gary Cohan (Kings Park, N.Y.) and freshman Taylor Stoerback (St. James, N.Y.) who each tied for second place individually. The pair posted 4-over par 74's, while Dylan Legg of MSMC carded a 73 for a 1-stroke victory.
The Rams next will compete in the Skyline Conference Championship at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course on Sunday, October 22nd and Monday, October 23rd.
