Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot a season-best 290 at the FSC Skyline Invitational this afternoon at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The Rams earned a 36-stroke victory over both Mount Saint Mary and Purchase who posted totals of 326.

Sophomore Gary Cohan (Kings Park, N.Y.) recorded his first career win after posting a 1-over par 71 for Farmingdale State. Junior Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.) fired a career-best round of 72 for a second place finish, while senior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) carded a 73. Junior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) rounded out the top-4 with a 74 for the Rams.

FSC next will travel to The Powelton Club in Newburgh, N.Y. for the MSMC Skyline Invitational on Friday, October 13th.
