Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a final round score of 298 for a third place finish with a two-day total of 603 at the 2017 FSC Fall Invitational at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course this weekend.

Senior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) tied for third place after rounds of 74 and 72, while sophomore Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) fired a final round 72 for a total of 148 and a seventh place finish. Junior Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.) (T10) followed Saturday's 77 with a final round 76 for the Rams.

Husson (305-288-593) claimed the team title after edging out Rosemont (302-292-594) by one stroke. Individually, Rosemont's Blake Ludwig took home medalist honors with a two-day total of 143 (74-69), while David Gall (70-75-145) finished in second place.

The FSC men's golf team next will host their Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red on Friday, October 6th.
