Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot 334 this morning and finished with a two-day total of 664 at the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships held at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The Rams finished in a tie for 41st place and missed the cut which was the top-18 teams in the field.

Senior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) finished his four-year career with a second round 81 and a two-day score of 158, while freshman Gary Cohan (Kings Park, N.Y.) also carded an 81.

Huntingdon College (293-291-584) holds a 4-stroke lead over Whittenberg (298-290-588) through the first two rounds of the championship.

Individually, Addison Lambeth of Huntingdon, is 3-under par after rounds of 69 and 72 and leads by two.

Farmingdale State will be returning all but one player heading into next season.
