
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team is set to compete at the 2017 NCAA Division III National Championships at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The event will be hosted by Oglethorpe University and Central Florida Sports Commission on May 16-19.
The Championship will feature two golf courses (Las Colinas & El Campeon) for the 42-team, 215 player field. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the top-18 teams and five low individuals not from the advancing schools.
FSC will open play Tuesday on the Las Colinas Course at 12:50 p.m and Wednesday on El Campeon at 8:20 a.m. Farmingdale State is paired with Rutgers-Camden and Washington and Lee for the first two rounds.
