Downingtown, Penn. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot 318 in today's final round of the Rosemont Raven Invitational at Downingtown Country Club for a two-day total of 632. The Rams tied for second place with Cabrini as host school Rosemont won by 19 with a total of 613.

Junior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) entered today's final round tied for fourth and posted a 79 for a total of 156 and a T8 finish. Senior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) tied for 11th overall with rounds of 78 and 80, while sophomore Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) (77-82-159) finished tied for 15th place. Freshman Ryan Scanlon (Huntington Station, N.Y.) pitched in with a final round 78 for Farmingdale State.

Individually, Jordan Cook (72-74-76) of Rosemont College earned a five stroke victory over Joe Meyers (72-79-151) from Cabrini.

The Rams next will travel to Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, N.J. for the NYU Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th.
