Downingtown, Penn. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a team-total of 314 in the first round of the Rosemont Raven Invitational at Downingtown Country Club. The Rams are currently in third place out of 19 teams and trail leader Cabrini by three strokes.

FSC was led by junior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and sophomore Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) who each shot 77 and are tied for fourth place. Senior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.), who is currently T7, carded a six-over par 78 in round one.

Individually, Jordan Cook of Rosemont and Joe Meyers from Cabrini are tied for first after shooting even-par 72's.

Tomorrow's final round will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.
