Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team hosted Nassau Community College in a dual match this morning at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The Rams posted a team total of 315 and earned a 16-stroke victory over NCC.
FSC was led by sophomore Tristan Burr (West Chester, PA) who shot a tournament-low round of 77. Sophomore's Jamie Jones (Rugeley, UK) and Ryan Reed (Northport, N.Y.) each carded 79's in the victory for the Rams.
Nassau CC was led by Liam Miller and Tom Pohalski who each shot 79.
Farmingdale State next will compete in the Skyline Championship at Bethpage Red on Sunday, October 30th and Monday, October 31st. The winner of the Championship will earn the Skyline's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championship at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on May 16-19, 2017.
