Bellport, N.Y. - Junior Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) shot a team-best 73 as Farmingdale State won the St. Joseph's Invitational at Bellport Country Club. The Rams posted a team-total of 306 and earned a 14-stroke victory over runner-up St. Joe's.
Goldman's 3-over par 73 earned him a second place finish, while sophomore Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) took fourth with a 75. Senior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) carded a 78 in the win for Farmingdale State.
Michael Nadeau of St. Joe's earned medalist honors with a 2-over par 72.
The Rams next will host a dual match with Nassau CC at Bethpage Red on Friday, October 21st.
