Newburgh, N.Y. - Senior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) shot a 3-over par 73 and finished in second place individually as Farmingdale State posted a total of 316 at the MSMC Invitational at The Powelton Club on Friday. The Rams finished in second place - seven strokes behind Mount Saint Mary for the team title.
Sophomore Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.), who was competing in his first event of the season for Farmingdale State, carded a 79.
MSMC's Owen Heath claimed individual medalist honors after firing a 2-over par 72.
The next event for the Rams is the St. Joseph's Invitational at Bellport Country Club on Friday, October 14th.
