Norman, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced the 2016 All-Academic Teams on Wednesday, July 27th. To be eligible for the award, a team must have a combined GPA over 3.0 for the academic year.
Farmingdale State was one of 38 Division III institutions to claim the All-Academic Team award this year.
Across all divisions, a total of 41 teams received President’s Special Recognition status for having team GPAs of 3.5 or better. The 41 teams to earn this distinction are the most since the Academic Team Awards program began in 2009.
