Norman, Okla. - The Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, Central and West earned All-Region honors for 2016.
Farmingdale State senior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) was named to the All-Northeast Region Team. Sessions, the Skyline Conference Player of the Year, posted a career-best 73.31 scoring average over 16 rounds this season. In nine events played, he recorded three wins (Skyline Conference Championship, FSC Spring Invitational & Long Island Intercollegiate Championship) and never finished higher than sixth place. Sessions carded rounds of 69 at the NYU Invitational, Tim Brown Invitational and FSC Spring Invitational and finished his four-year career with back-to-back victories.
