Ballston Spa, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted an opening round 308 at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational held at Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, N.Y. and are in eighth place out of 10 teams.

Senior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.), the defending champion at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational, led FSC with an opening round of 75 (+4) and is tied for 14th place.

Freshmen Jamie Jones (Rugeley, UK) and Tristan Burr (Smithtown, N.Y.) each shot 77, while senior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.) carded a 79.

Host school Skidmore College shot 286 (+2) this afternoon and hold a 12-stroke lead over second place St. Lawrence (298).

Skidmore's Mitchell Campbell fired a 3-under par 68 and is two shots ahead of Hamilton's Joe Tigani (70). John Lauria of St. Lawrence is in third place individually after an even par 71 today.

The Rams will begin play in tomorrow's final round with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
