Men's Golf Fall Season Recap

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The men's golf team recorded a runner-up finish at the Skyline Conference Championship this fall. The Rams finished six strokes behind St. Joseph's at the Championship which was held at Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, N.Y.

Farmingdale State captured the season opening Old Westbury Invitational at Spring Lake Country Club after senior's Matt Adwar (Holbrook, N.Y.) (74) and Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) (75) led the way.

At the FSC Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red, freshman Ryan Reed (Northport, N.Y.) won individually with a 1-over par 71 as the Rams recorded a second place finish behind St. Joe's.

Sessions led the Rams at the NYU Invitational with rounds of 69 and 79 for a third place finish individually. Sessions again led FSC at the Skyline Championship the following week as he carded an eight stroke victory (71-75) and was named Skyline Player of the Year. Senior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.) and junior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) were each named Second Team All-Conference.

The Rams will begin the spring season in March.
