Armonk, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot 319 in the final round of the Skyline Conference Championship and finished with a two day total of 637. The Rams placed second at the championship, finishing six strokes behind St. Joseph's College.

Senior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year after earning an eight stroke victory of St. Joseph's Christian Bleck and Rory Mazur of Purchase. Sessions carded an opening round of 71 and followed with a 75 in Monday's final round.

Senior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.) finished in sixth place and earned Second Team All-Conference honors with a two day total of 159 (80-79), while junior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y) finished T9 (82-83) and was also named to the Second Team.

St. Joseph's, who last won the Skyline Championship in 2007, earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division III National Championships.

Farmingdale State head coach Tom Azzara was tabbed Skyline Conference Coach of the Year.
