Bloomfield, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot a final round 325 and finished in a tie for fifth place with a two day total of 643. Skidmore College (603) earned a 25-stroke victory over runner-up Stevens.
Senior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.), who opened with a 2-under 69, posted a final round 79 and finished in third place individually. Junior Matt Burnett (Farmingdale, N.Y.) recorded scores of 80 and 78 for a T16 finish, while senior Matt Adwar (Holbrook, N.Y.) carded an 81 this afternoon.
Hamilton's Joe Tigani earned medalist honors (73-73) with a two day total of 146.
The Rams next will head to Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, N.Y. for the Skyline Conference Championship on Sunday, October 18th and Monday, October 19th.
