Harrisburg, Penn. - After an opening round of 300, the Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a 315 on day two and finished in fifth place out of 11 teams at the PSU-Harrisburg Invitational at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
Senior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) followed his day one score of 72 with a final round 73 for a two day total of 145 and a T6 finish. Senior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.) carded a final round 77 for an 18th place finish with a total of 152, while senior Chris Brosi (Stony Brook, N.Y.) (78-79-157) tied for 26th.
Franklin & Marshall (284-297-581) captured the team title finishing 15 strokes ahead of Gettysburg and York (PA).
Franklin & Marshall's Dan Furman (-1) defeated teammate Brad Lankler on the second playoff hole to earn medalist honors.
Farmingdale State next will host St. Joseph's (LI) and Nassau Community College in a tri-match at Bethpage Red on Friday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m.
