Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Farmingdale State junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) followed an opening round 73 with a day two score of 72 for a total of 145 (+3) and a one stroke victory over teammate Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational at Ballston Spa Country Club.
The Farmingdale State men's golf team recorded a final round score of 297 for a two day total of 606 and a third place finish. Host school Skidmore College (293-298-591) finished seven strokes ahead of second place NYU (302-296-598).
Pollock, who fired a 76 yesterday, shot the best round of the day today with a 1-under par 70. Senior Rocco Costa (Massapequa, N.Y.) finished T20 with a two day total of 154 (77-77) for the Rams.
The Rams next will compete at the Farmingdale State Spring Invitational held at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course on Thursday, April 23rd and Friday, April 24th.
