Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Farmingdale State junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) shot an opening round of 73 and is currently tied for third place, one stroke off the lead at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational at the Ballston Spa Country Club. The Rams posted a day one total of 309 and are in third place out of nine teams.
Senior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) carded a 76 and is tied for 14th place, while senior Rocco Costa (Massapequa, N.Y.) posted a 77 and is T18. Junior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.), who is competing as an individual, shot an opening round of 77 for the Rams.
Host school Skidmore College (293) holds a nine stroke lead over second place NYU.
Individually, NYU's Paul Park and Teddy Badenhausen of Skidmore are tied for the lead after shooting rounds of 72 today.
Tomorrow's final round will again feature live hole-by-hole scoring - the field tees off with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
