Bloomfield, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's golf posted a final round score of 316 and finished in ninth place with a two day total of 640 at the NYU/Manhattanville Spring Invitational.

Senior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) shot a team-best final round of 76 for a two day total of 160 and a 34th place finish. Senior Rocco Costa (Massapequa, N.Y.) finished T24 with rounds of 78 and 80, while freshman Jesse Kovacs (St. James, N.Y.) recorded a T31 finish with rounds of 80 and 79. Junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) was forced to withdraw during today's final round due to illness.

Williams and RPI each finished with two day totals of 617; however, after a match of cards Williams claimed the team title. Skidmore and Middlebury each finished two strokes back and tied for third place.

Individually, Bayard Geeslin of Hamilton claimed medalist honors with scores of 74 and 71 (145).

The Rams next will travel to Balston Spa CC in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. for the Tim Brown Invitational on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th.
